We are a charity, supporting people with learning disabilities, support needs and their carers. We use AdvicePro to record casework and activity for all of our advice projects.
Like many advice providers, we have funding from a variety of sources. Currently, we need to compile statistics for six different funding reports. Each funder is interested in slightly different aspects and each funder requires information at different intervals. With AdvicePro, we have been able to build set reports for each of the funders- so that we can easily pull off the statistics needed.
The mapping tool, available in AdvicePro is really helpful because it makes it easier for us to tailor individual reports towards what is needed by our funders. For example, we are able to map similar types of enquiries together, or group together specific types of cases to report this collective information to funders. This has reduced the time and effort required for reporting by meaning we need to do less in excel, such as with filtering information.
The reporting process is even more simple, when AdviceUK are involved in administering the funding for projects. This is the case for one of our Scottish Government-funded projects- in this case, AdviceUK are able to extract anonymous data from the system directly. This is fantastic, as it means that we can focus purely on delivering the advice service to the people who need it and spend no time at all on collating stats.
